Welcome to the South Florida Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) web page. Chartered in 1973 as the Miami Chapter, the South Florida Chapter is one of the oldest chapters in a Society, with more than 60 chapters, our members have a wealth of engineering and design experience. Members include some of our nation’s premier plumbing design professionals.

ASPE South Florida has a long history and tradition of excellence, its members enjoy quality in all sections of the industry. ✈️ 2026 ASPE Convention & Expo — Oklahoma City

Mark your calendars! The 2026 ASPE Convention & Expo will be held October 8–14, 2026, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Expo will take place October 12–13.
This is one of the biggest opportunities of the year to connect with plumbing industry professionals from across the country, discover the latest products and technologies, attend educational and technical sessions, earn CEUs, and represent our South Florida Chapter on the national stage.
We encourage our members to attend, learn, network, and bring some South Florida spirit to Oklahoma City!

Every other year, ASPE produces the ASPE Convention & Expo, attracting thousands of plumbing engineers, designers, specifiers, and contractors with the largest plumbing products and systems trade show in the country, combined with unparalleled professional development seminars and networking opportunities. ASPE’s Convention & Expo is the only industry event designed to showcase innovations in plumbing system design—where attendees can learn about the latest plumbing products, services, and design techniques.

Green Plumbing Design On-Demand Certificate Program:

The Green Plumbing Design (GPD) certificate program, sponsored by the ASPE and the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), is for engineers and designers with advanced skills in sustainable plumbing system design and consulting. Available only for engineers and designers who hold either the CPD certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license, the GPD certificate denotes professionals with a high level of experience and training in sustainable practices. The GPD designation signifies professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the efficient use of our precious water resources via water-conserving plumbing system designs for commercial and residential applications. 

Copyright Infringement at Chapter Technical Meetings:

The Society has been advised of a very serious matter concerning Chapter meeting presentations. In several instances, content from presentations has been copied without the speaker’s permission. This content includes photos and videos and was placed online on YouTube, Vimeo, and other sites. This practice violates copyright law, and we ask each chapter to take steps to ensure that it does not happen at your meetings to prevent any liability on the part of the Chapter or Society.

At ASPE Education you can find a wealth of programs to help you learn new skills and earn CEUs for your credential and license recertification requirements. In addition to our on-demand webinars and Read, Learn, & Earn program, you can also participate in technical presentations hosted by ASPE Chapters all over the country. Youth Outreach Programs:
